$INTO Airdrop: How 90M $INTO will be given away in a smart way

The Intento ICS testnet was a success. Participation was high, flows were executed across the interchain, and the momentum is real as we head into mainnet.

On the technical side, we’ve refactored the codebase, booted up a new devnet (replacing the ICS testnet), and prepared for something entirely new in crypto: Trustless Agents. These were previously called hosted ICAs, but the name didn’t do them justice.
A Trustless Agent is exactly that — an interchain account that executes on your behalf without any admin control. The only role of the admin is paying the fees. This unlocks an entirely new class of on-chain automation.

We’re not doing a throwaway token drop. The $INTO airdrop is designed to bring the right communities together, reward meaningful participation, and channel value back into the network.

We’ve published Intento’s full tokenomics to give the community clear insight into how the ecosystem is structured. The distribution graph for $INTO is below, and the complete breakdown now lives in our updated docs along with the tokenomics article.

• Size: 22.5% of total $INTO supply.

• Philosophy: Large enough to matter, but designed for active participants, not passive claimers.

• Target communities:

  • Cosmos NFT ecosystems: Bad Kids, Mad Scientists, Celestia Sloths
  • Galxe quest participants.
  • Learners who minted NFTs on Omniflix.

• Snapshot date: August 11 for NFT holders.

How the Unlock Works

Claimers receive 2 INTO in their wallets to start with. To unlock your full airdrop amount, you’ll need to complete 4 meaningful onchain actions:

1. Orchestrate a flow on Intento.
2. Orchestrate a flow over IBC.
3. Stake tokens.
4. Participate in governance.

Here’s the structure:

• Complete an action → 20% of that portion unlocks.
• The rest vests over several days.
• You can claim at any time, but must stake at least 67% of the unlocked tokens to claim.

This isn’t a “click claim” airdrop — it’s an engagement engine .

Decay Mechanism

We’ve built in two parameters to keep the clock ticking:

• DurationUntilDecay (Grace Period): 4 weeks from claim eligibility.

  • No penalties during this period — time to onboard and take actions.

• DurationOfDecay (Reduction Period): 8 weeks after the grace period.

  • Linear decay — total claimable allocation drops to 0 by the end.

Example: If you wait until halfway through the decay period (~8 weeks after airdrop goes live), only ~50% of your remaining allocation is still claimable.

Anything unclaimed after full decay goes back to the community pool to fund builders, user incentives, and growth.

Clawback

Unclaimed or unused tokens don’t sit forever.

They’re clawed back into the community pool, where they’ll fund:

• Builders building on Intento
• High value integrations
• Growth campaigns

These mechanisms maximize the value created for INTO holders and the ecosystem as a whole.

What's exciting: Participants can DCA into the streams powered by Intento, reducing volatility, averaging buy-ins, and making participation more predictable. • Governance : Proposals adding fee tokens, enabling inflation & airdrop claiming.
• Liquidity & delegation: Liquidity pools on Osmosis, plus a delegation program to secure the network.
• Community growth: Launch of the governance forum and ambassador program.

The ICS testnet proved what’s possible: high participation, live flows across the interchain, and momentum building fast. With the codebase refactored and upgraded to V1, a devnet running, and Trustless Agents ready to launch, we’re stepping into uncharted territory for crypto automation.
