Intento: Intent-Based Flows & Orchestration
Intento is designed to redefine intent-based flows and blockchain orchestration, offering low-cost, high-speed execution for decentralized workflows. We provide:
- Simple & secure on-chain execution in highly configurable workflows
- Scalability as Intento is designed to trigger millions of actions per hour
- Full interoperability with IBC, Interchain Accounts and Interchain Queries
- Self-custodial user-owned flows that do not depend on smart-contracts
ATOM Alignment
ATOM-based payments are redirected to the Intento Community Pool, reinforcing the Cosmos Hub’s role within our ecosystem. By leveraging interchain security, we contribute to the demand for staked ATOM while introducing new utility through intent-based flows. This incentivized testnet is not just a step toward mainnet—it’s a step toward a stronger, more interconnected Cosmos.
By using Hosted Accounts in Intent-based Flows, users can query and execute on any connected chain while paying all fees in ATOM—an exciting form of chain abstraction that fosters interchain coordination and enables seamless intent-based flows and orchestration.
ATOM also plays an important role in our interchain economic strategy, enabling the Intento community to establish partnerships, form strategic alliances, and create incentives for other protocols within the Cosmos ecosystem. By integrating ATOM into our tokenomics, we ensure deep alignment with the broader Cosmos vision, reinforcing the strength of IBC-powered collaboration.

Testnet Timeline & What to Expect
The Intento testnet will run for five weeks, with flexibility for up to eight weeks based on community feedback and performance. This test phase will be an important moment in refining our infrastructure and ensuring a smooth transition to mainnet.

There will be a kick-off call next Monday, March 10 at 3:00 PM CET / 9:00 AM ET / 6:00 AM PT. to get things started. While our mainnet validator set will be capped and exclusive, we invite all Cosmos Hub validators to join our testnet and be part of this pioneering initiative. Participating in the testnet allows you to:
